Marshall A. Glick has been practicing law for over 55 years, emphasizing Estate Planning, Non-profit Law, Business and Corporate Law, and Real Estate law. Prior to founding Glick Atalla, APLC (formerly known as Marshall A. Glick, APC) in 1985, Marshall was a partner at a Century City, Los Angeles law firm. While still in law school, he formed his first charity, Campus Committee to Bridge The Gap, in 1967. Marshall’s passion for forming and advising non-profit organizations has continued throughout his career, and his enthusiasm for the practice of law is now shared by his daughter Heather Glick-Atalla, who joined the firm in 2010.

Community Involvement
Marshall is a past President of B’nai B’rith Honor Lodge No. 2565, and has served on the Advisory Board of Directors of Concern Foundation For Cancer Research. He has also been active in a number of other community and public interest organizations, including the National Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, in which he served as the Executive Vice President of the Greater Los Angeles–Orange County Chapter, which honored him for his efforts in connection with fundraising activities.
Working together with several other individuals, Marshall established the ULCA Paralegal Program, which was one of the first in the nation, and has been consistently recognized as one of the most respected and prestigious paralegal education programs in the country. He lectured for 18 years as an extension teacher in Advanced Estate Planning, Real Estate Law, and Corporation and Tax Law, at UCLA and other U.C. campuses. He has lectured on a state-wide basis at various campuses of the University of California, speaking on such topics as “Advanced Estate Planning — Transferring Property Into Revocable Living Trusts” and “The Mechanics Of Financing — Promissory Notes and Deeds Of Trust”. He has also lectured on the advantages of using irrevocable life insurance trusts in estate planning.
Marshall has also taught classes at The Learning Annex on the subject of forming non-profit, tax-exempt organizations, and periodically teaches extension classes at UCLA.
